Western Calligraphy Handmade Ink

Ink is the foundation of Western calligraphy. A good bottle of ink plays a vital role in promoting practice. In Engrosser's Script, we have extremely high standards for hairline and shades.
When I creating this handmade ink, the basic standards were hair-thin silkiness and rich, beautiful shadows. I put considerable effort into the consistency and wetness of the formula. The initial colors released are "Azure Blue," inspired by the Portuguese bricks of Macau, and "Dark Walnut," a classic ink for Western calligraphy.
Each bottle of handmade ink, hand-mixed and precisely proportioned, is intended to be a good companion on your journey in Western calligraphy.
Azure Blue:
Inspired by the Portuguese bricks of Macau, "Azure Blue" is made from very vibrant azurite. After grinding, it produces a rock-like color with very vivid contrast, a color I particularly love.
Dark Walnut:
A classic ink for Western calligraphy, this natural ink is refined from walnut shells. It is darker than regular walnut inks on the market while retaining the unique tonal variations characteristic of walnut ink. For even stronger tonal variations, do not shake before use.

Note:
Each bottle of handmade ink is handcrafted; slight color variations may occur.
Please shake well before use to deepen the color. Smaller bottles are recommended for easier shaking.
This ink can be used with dip nibs, flat nibs, and various brushes.
This ink is not suitable for fountain pens.
Oliver Lao
Macau-based Western calligrapher with over 10 years in Western calligraphy. Oliver provides the services from courses, workshops, private lessons, customized gifts and logo design. In 2017, Oliver founded the Lettering Artists Association of Macau (LAAOM). It regularly holds courses and workshops and invites international Western calligraphers to participate in the annual exhibition.
In the same year, Oliver also established a calligraphy brand, focusing on selling Western calligraphy tools, while providing high-end residency services for international brands. Recently, Oliver was invited by Macau Television to produce a series of Western calligraphy program.
